The Retinol by Robanda Nightly Renewal Cream is an off-white lightweight cream that comes in a two-ounce jar. The cream spreads readily to produce a moisturizing effect. It is a night cream rather than a day cream because retinol can make skin more sensitive to sunburn. For instance, according to Healthline: "Sunburn is one of the greatest risks of using retinol. Some of the drying and irritating effects may also be worsened by sun exposure. Ironically, sun exposure could put you at risk for some of the exact effects you’re using retinol for, such as age spots and wrinkles."
I used it twice since I got it I needed a night cream my face was moist when I awake .. felt great look great in only 2 night yes i did my serums first.. then used my night cream I recommend honestly.. I used a lot of other creams looking to change from oil of Olay..this is the best so far tried over 7 different night creams
I love robanda and knew this brand way back like from 30 years ago. It was the best & highest level retinol cream I could find back then. I was sorry when they discontinued the original cream and changed the creaminess of it to what looks like a more whipped version. Well as life has it, thru the years I strayed away and tried many many other brands. Now I’m back to ROBANDA & even though they’ve made changes their products are still excellent. This cream is light & absorbs well. Does not irritate my skin. Has a barely there scent that dissipates right away. A little goes a long way.

I am ordering a second jar of this. Light scent thay is not overpowering. Seemed to make my skin happy with no extreme purging period. Decently moisturize.
I was on the fence at 4 stars and 5 for this.Pros: The value for money is excellent. It’s a small jar packed with a LOT of product. It’s actually heavy for the size. But doesn’t feel heavy on skin. A tiny amount goes a long way. This will easily last me 8 months to a year.It’s smooth and creamy and not too oily if you have oily skin. Hydrates well. It’s thick but not too thick. Just right for a night cream.Cons: I’m not crazy about the scent. But it is unnoticeable right after applying. Yet, in a way, it reminds me of pool water or hydrogen peroxide. Not sure if it’s in in but it’s ok if it is. The scent isn’t bad enough I wouldn’t buy it again. I totally would.I didn’t really see improvement like I would like with some break outs. But I did see improvement with the texture and brightness of skin. It seems smoother. So it’s ok about the former.So I say take a chance. At this price, there’s no harm
you get 2 ounces of product for $24 and that’s a steal. most quality retinol products that aren’t too irritating are sold at 1-1.7oz per jar and cost way more than this, so i don’t have any complaints. although i don’t find it better than my more expensive retinol products, this is a good wallet friendly purchase if you’re interested in trying it to see if it’s for you. it’s not too strong or irritating on my slightly sensitive skin and it absorbs well without any problems. i only use this in my pm routine though and don’t use it daily. it depends on how my skin feels and looks that day but even still, i can see some results i’m pleased with. it suits my purposes and i’ll likely use the abundant size to apply this on other areas of my body as well. i have normal to combination skin and i didn’t get any break outs or rashes either. if your skin is similar to mine, you might like this too.
